When you make products that effect ~30 million paychecks at a time, changes you make in how people work have a tremendous effect. When I got a call about a position working on ADP’s health care product, my only reason for considering it was the opportunity to gather competitive intel. But, after speaking with the folks from ADP, I discovered that they were in a transition. I heard ADP’s CEO, Carlos Rodriguez, wanted his legacy to be transitioning ADP from a service company that uses technology to a technology company that uses service.

We went from having literally no product management to having one of the best product teams I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with, and our products show it. We found our niche when it comes to hiring the best people to work on our new projects.
