Avast’s new design uses plenty of bright white space and a simple colour scheme to make that easy around the eye. Although that does mean you have to browse a lot to find the features you want, and it feels like some equipment are stored inside the machine. There are a few shortcuts to run scans and activate distributed denial-of service attack the VPN, and some not-terribly-useful system optimisation tools too, but if to get after these options you’ll want to dig deep in the Explore tab.
